During the RBA and RGA outreach meeting in Kuala Lumpur in September of 2025, the RGA organized a focused track featuring two breakout sessions designed to enhance member collaboration and leverage existing tools to address supply chain issues.
Session 1: Leveraging RBA Tools for Enhanced Due Diligence
This session featured a deep dive into Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) tools and programs available for collectively addressing forced labor and other complex issues deep within supply chains. RGA members provided testimonials on which RBA tools they are currently utilizing to strengthen their due diligence processes and offered valuable suggestions to the RGA team for future improvements.
Session 2: Shared Responsibility in the Supply Chain
The second session was a dynamic panel discussion on shared responsibility, featuring representatives from the buyer and manufacturer sides of RGA membership. The panel highlighted that achieving responsible business in global supply chains requires collaboration across all tiers, and how buyers and manufacturers in the RGA are working together to address common issues and challenges.
